Jessica has been the Executive Director of Toronto’s First Post Office since January 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queen’s University and a Master’s of Museum Studies Degree from the University of Leicester. Prior to working with Toronto’s First Post Office, Jessica held the position of Museum Coordinator at Baycrest Health Sciences. She has experience in all areas of museum management, including exhibitions, collections, outreach, and events. Jessica is passionate about the impact museums can make in their communities, and has worked in several museums in Toronto and England. As Executive Director of Toronto’s First Post Office, Jessica oversees all aspects of daily operations, including budgeting, grant management, fundraising, and staff leadership.
Jude joined TFPO in 2021 as a postal clerk. Her passion and organizational skills led her to take on more responsibilities on the 4th floor, becoming our Data Entry Clerk. In 2026, TFPO was eager to expand her responsibilities event further, and Jude now serves as Office Manager. In this role, Jude is responsible for all financial operations, budgeting, and ensuring that the office on the fourth floor runs smoothly. Jude is also excited to be managing the upcoming renovation of our bathroom, made possible through the Ontario Trillium Foundation, with a goal to make it fully accessible. She also plans to begin work on making our research library more public-facing turning into an active public resource.

Raina & Jackson both started their journeys at TFPO behind the front counter as Postal Clerks, in 2024 and 2023 respectively. Beginning in the summer of 2026, Jackson and Raina now share the role of Retail Coordinator. In this role, Jackson manages the Post Office, including mail forwarding, Canada Post inventory and clerk scheduling. Raina manages the stocking and expanding of the Gift Shop, online order fulfillment, and stationery events.
Friendly, familiar, reliable and always ready to help, the Town of York Historical Society is happy to employ our team of postal clerks at Toronto's First Post Office, who provide services seven days a week and fulfill our building's primary purpose! It is because of their dedication that we remain Canada's oldest purpose-built post office still in operation. We thank and appreciate them!
